Traditional and most commonly used materials for pillowcases, i.e. cotton, nylon, and satin, trap sweat that we secrete overnight while asleep. This serves as a convenient breeding ground for bacteria. Pillowcases have been contributing to ever-increasing cases of skin and respiratory diseases.
Introducing TLC Bamboo Pillowcase™
You'll fall in love with bamboo fibers.
I love these bamboo pillow cases, I purchased 2 weeks ago. My husband loves them too, he said that the bamboo pillowcases are so much cooler and feels much cleaner than the cotton sheets we always used!!! YES I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE SHEETS TO A FRIEND, EVERYONE!!!

The pillowcases are extremely soft and comfortable. I had to resort to using these pillow cases due to my very sensitive skin. But not only are these pillowcases available in so many different colours to match all my bedding, they have not bothered my skin at all, and that says a lot for the quality and softness of the material. I wash them twice a week, and so far, has held up extremely well.

Our kids are incredibly picky about the softness of their sheets and pillow cases and our daughter not only wanted her pillow cases to be incredibly soft but also a particular color of purple. These pillow cases arrived and are the perfect color and softness, we will definitely be ordering more!

How well do the antimicrobial properties of bamboo fibre pillowcases function compared to cotton pillowcases?
Bamboo fibres have antibacterial/antimicrobial properties that cotton fails to do. Unlike cotton, the bamboo fibres function by attracting negatively charged bacteria and destroying them once they come in contact. Thus, reducing the frequency of washing – which makes it very environmentally friendly.
Does the bamboo pillowcase lose it's antimicrobial properties after washing and drying?
No, it does not lose its microbial properties after washing and drying. However, we recommend that the bamboo fibre pillowcases should be washed as regularly as required. This is to ensure fallen out hair and dried skin are washed off the surface of the pillowcases for the antimicrobial properties to function at its optimum.
How long do the antimicrobial properties last – weeks, months, years?
The antimicrobial properties, even when used regularly, can last a lifetime. However, due to the wear and tear of washing and drying, despite keeping the antimicrobial properties, the bamboo fibres in the pillowcase will wear thin and cause it to tear.
What is the size/measurement of the pillowcases?
The pillowcases are 48cm x 74cm.
